Denmark has announced the signing of a bilateral security agreement with Ukraine that guarantees support for the next 10 years, Ukrinform reports.

"The agreement stipulates that future military and civilian support will be determined within the framework of a bilateral political agreement for the next 10 years," the Danish Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

The agreement will be financed from the Ukraine Fund, which is currently estimated at $10 billion.

Also today, Denmark announced a $247 million aid package for Ukraine. The country's prime minister said that "time does not help Ukraine, only action counts on the battlefield". Earlier, Denmark decided to transfer all its artillery to Ukraine.

Meanwhile, the Danish Ministry of Defence has announced that Ukraine will receive the first Danish F-16s this summer. The Danish defence minister noted that it is difficult to set a clear timetable for the transfer of the fighter jets, as it depends on several conditions.
