The number of Ukrainian weapons and equipment is increasing at the frontline. Innovations and technological development are the key to victory, but we must not forget about traditional weapons, the production of which needs to be increased.
Communication between manufacturers and the army makes it possible to improve weapons and equipment every day. Hanna Hvozdyar, Deputy Minister for Strategic Industries, said this during the discussion "How to win the war: prospects for Ukrainian industry" organised by LB.ua and EFI Group.
"We can see that the number of private
manufacturers in our country has increased. I believe this is a very good signal for Ukrainian business in general. Ukrainian manufacturers, including private ones, have a great chance to become part of our army's armament. The ministry is doing everything we can to increase the number of these manufacturers," she said.
The deputy minister said that taxpayers' money is spent on purchasing weapons for the Ukrainian army from Ukrainian manufacturers, so the more weapons we produce, the more money will remain.
