Ensuring a technological breakthrough is the main direction of countering a more massive army. A breakthrough can only be achieved through technology, said Andriy Lebedenko, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, during the discussion "How to win the war: prospects for Ukrainian industry" organised by LB.ua and EFI Group.

Lebedenko said that the state has already created an innovative ecosystem that can combine production, research institutions and the Armed Forces. In this ecosystem, the Armed Forces of Ukraine should express wishes and requirements that will be transformed into weapons and technologies.

The deputy commander explained that this structure should make it easier for the army to access advanced technologies, communicate with industry and respond to new threats, as the enemy is also constantly modernising.

"We have already launched some processes that will develop and be more effective," Lebedenko said.
