At least six aircraft were destroyed in a Ukrainian attack on the Morozovsk airfield in Russia. This was reported by sources to LB.ua.
The attack was carried out by the SBU together with the military and other defence forces. The airfield was home to Su-24, Su-24M, and Su-34 frontline bombers - the kind of aircraft Russia uses to drop chemical warheads on Ukrainian Armed Forces positions and frontline Ukrainian cities.
At least six military aircraft were destroyed and eight more were heavily damaged. There is evidence of enemy casualties of 20 soldiers killed and wounded.
"This is an important special operation that will significantly reduce the combat potential of the ruscists," the source said.
