On the night of 16 April, Ukraine's air defence destroyed 9 out of 9 Shahed-131/136 attack drones launched by the Russian army. Combat operations were conducted in Kherson, Mykolayiv, Khmelnytskyy, Poltava, Cherkasy and Dnipropetrovsk Regions.
This was reported by the Commander of the Air Force of Ukraine Mykola Oleshchuk.
"All nine Shaheds were destroyed by mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Air Force and Defence Forces within Kherson, Mykolayiv, Khmelnytskyy, Poltava, Cherkasy and Dnipropetrovsk Regions," Oleshchuk said.
