On the night of 22 April, Ukrainian air defence destroyed 5 out of 7 Shahed-131/136 UAVs launched by the Russian army. Also in the morning, the Air Force managed to eliminate an Orlan-10 tactical UAV. All drones were shot down in Odesa Region. This was reported by the Ukrainian Air Force.
The Russian army launched the Shaheds at the territory of Ukraine from Cape Chauda in Crimea. They also attacked with three S-300/S-400 anti-aircraft guided missiles from the occupied Donetsk Region.
"As a result of combat operations last night, units of mobile firing groups of the Ukrainian Defence Forces destroyed 5 attack UAVs, and an Orlan-10”, the Ukrainian Air Force said in a statement.
