On 4 May, a fire broke out in a residential area in one of the settlements of Shostka district, Sumy Region, due to hostile shelling. Two people were injured.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
"Shostka district: rescuers eliminated large-scale fires caused by enemy shelling. On 4 May, late in the evening, enemy troops attacked one of the settlements of Shostka district, which is located near the border with the aggressor country. Rescuers arrived at the scene," the statement said.
According to preliminary reports, two people were injured in the attack. As a result of the shelling, large-scale fires broke out in the residential sector and at a civilian facility. Rescuers localised and extinguished the fires.
