As the Head of State said in his evening address on 6 May, the meeting of the Supreme Command discussed the situation at the front and weapons for the Defence Forces.
"The first thing is the frontline. Report of the Commander-in-Chief: he was on the front line, directly in the brigades. He reported on key challenges and needs. We are getting ready. There was also a report on our own weapons production and equipping our brigades. We are doing everything we can to provide more weapons for our soldiers," Zelensky said.
The meeting participants also discussed supplies from partners: the timing and the possibility of speeding up the actual delivery of weapons and ammunition.
"Political decisions must be followed by real logistics - the actual receipt of weapons by our soldiers. All those involved must now work 24/7 with partners, including the United States," Zelenskyy stressed.
