In Vovchansk, the Russian army opened fire on a police car during an evacuation. One police officer was killed and another was injured. This is stated by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko.
"The occupiers hit the evacuation vehicle with an FPV drone. At that moment, there were two police officers in the car who were on their way to rescue civilians," he said.
The Interior Minister adds that Russian drones are circling constantly. The danger to police evacuation teams remains consistently high. But the police continue to take people out of the area of fire. They were saving civilians despite the risks to their own lives and health.
