The deputy head of the National Agency on the Prevention of Corruption, Artem Sytnyk, has resigned.
Starting today, 3 June, he will no longer hold this position. The reasons were not explained on the agency's website.
Sytnyk was appointed deputy head of the NAPC on 12 June 2022 and was responsible for the following areas:
- Coordination of cooperation with law enforcement and prosecutor's offices, including ensuring consideration of substantiated conclusions about crimes, identification of assets of persons involved in military aggression against Ukraine
- financial control, conducting special inspections, lifestyle monitoring, verification of compliance with legal requirements, in particular in the area of corruption prevention
- prevention and settlement of conflicts of interest
- monitoring and control over the implementation of legislation on ethical behaviour, prevention and settlement of conflicts of interest.
Prior to joining the NACP, Artem Sytnyk headed the National Anti-Corruption Bureau.
