The Budget Committee has considered the Cabinet of Ministers' report on the implementation of the law "On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2023" and the report of the Accounting Chamber for 2023, the press service of the Verkhovna Rada reports.
According to the government's report, the state budget was executed in 2023 with revenues of UAH 2,672.5 billion, expenditures of UAH 4,014.8 billion, loan repayments of UAH 14.8 billion, and loan disbursements of UAH 9.3 billion, with a deficit of UAH 1,336.8 billion.
The Committee recommended adopting the draft resolution "On the Report on the Implementation of the Law of Ukraine "On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2023" (No. 11353).
Regarding the report of the Accounting Chamber, the Committee noted that in 2023 the Accounting Chamber audited 399 objects, which resulted in the approval of 59 reports/conclusions. The amount of funds audited by the Accounting Chamber in 2023 was UAH 771.1 billion. In total, violations and shortcomings amounting to UAH 60.8 billion were identified.
The Committee took note of the Accounting Chamber's report for 2023 and provided relevant recommendations.
