Advisor to the Prime Minister, Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board of NEC Ukrenergo Yuriy Boyko said on the Kyiv TV channel that the situation in the power system is stabilising.
According to him, if there is no shelling, it is possible to manage with minimal restrictions or no power cuts in the next 3 months.
‘So far, everything is moving within the estimates given by the power engineers back in May. We have entered a period when there is more electricity, the temperature has dropped, and consumption has decreased accordingly. Unfortunately, being weather-dependent, we are in a relative balance. If there are no external influences, I think we will be in this balance (which means that if any restrictions are imposed, they will be minor) for at least the next three months,’ said Yuriy Boyko.
