After the failure of its offensive on Kharkiv, Russia has changed the main goal of its current campaign. It now seeks to occupy Pokrovsk.

This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in an interview with French media. He said that Pokrovsk is now a priority for the Russians.

"Of course, there is also Kostyantynivka, and they are aiming at Toretsk, and there are plans for Slovyansk, but these are all plans. They are concentrating the largest number of personnel and the largest number of weapons, and KABs, everything they have, on the Pokrovsk direction," he said.

To deter the Russians, aid packages, weapons and air defence systems are needed to shoot down the planes from which they are striking.

  • Покровський напрямок є найважчим уже протягом місяців. Саме на ньому захисники щоденно відбивають найбільшу кількість ворожих атак. Ворог поступово захоплює населені пункти.
