Deputy Pentagon spokeswoman Sabrina Singh commented on the operation in the Kursk Region, according to Voice of America journalist Ostap Yarysh.
"We do not believe that this is an escalation in any way. Ukraine is doing what it needs to do to succeed on the battlefield," she said.
The deputy Pentagon spokeswoman added that the United States will continue to support Ukraine in whatever way it needs.
