In January-July 2024, Ukraine imported goods worth $39.1 billion and exported $22.6 billion.

This was reported by the State Customs Service.

At the same time, taxed imports amounted to $32.9 billion, which is 84% of the total volume of imported goods.

Most of the goods were imported to Ukraine from China in the amount of $7.7 billion, followed by Poland with $4 billion and Germany with $3.1 billion.

Most of the goods were exported from Ukraine to Poland - worth $2.4 billion, Spain - $1.8 billion, and China - $1.8 billion.

65% of imported goods were in the following categories:

  • machinery, equipment and transport - $13.4 billion
  • chemical products - $6.9 billion
  • fuel and energy - $5.1 billion.

The top three most exported goods from Ukraine were

  • food products - $14.1 billion
  • metals and metal products - $2.5 billion
  • mineral products - $2 billion.

In July, exports increased by 9% compared to June. The figure reached $2 billion 969 million.
