The operation of Ukrainian troops in the Kursk Region of Russia has received the green light from the Western world. Moreover, thanks to it, our partners are now changing their attitude to strikes on Russian territory. These conclusions were reached in an article by Politico.

The journalists pointed out that there are currently no signs that the allies, who had previously shown caution and indecision, are opposing the actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Russia. Even Germany, which was particularly afraid of provoking the Kremlin by allowing the use of its weapons, has taken a supportive stance.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Berlin told Politico that "Ukraine has a right to defend itself guaranteed by international law, and it is not limited to its own territory".

According to a video published by the German newspaper Bild, Ukrainian forces are using German-supplied equipment to attack towards Kursk. The head of the Bundestag's security committee, Markus Faber, confirmed that the Ukrainian Armed Forces could conduct offensive operations using the entire arsenal of equipment provided by Berlin, including Leopard-2 tanks.

There have been no official comments on the operation in Kursk Region from Ukraine's political and military leadership.
