Russia shells Sumy border 21 times overnight, casualties reported

Numerous communities were shelled. As a result of Russian shelling, two people were killed and six wounded.

At night and in the morning, Russians fired 21 times at the border areas and settlements of Sumy Region. There were 52 explosions recorded, according to the Sumy RMA.

Khotin, Yunakivka, Miropillya, Bilopillya, Velyka Pysarivka, Hlukhiv, Esman, Seredyna Buda communities were shelled.

According to the regional police, two people were killed and six wounded as a result of Russian shelling.

The Russians continue to attack Sumy Region, mostly using anti-aircraft guns, artillery, mortars, grenade launchers, and FPV drones.

The shelling killed a 6-year-old boy and his 23-year-old brother. 6 civilians were injured.

3 schools, 17 residential buildings, a post office, 3 private cars, business and administrative premises of an agricultural company were damaged. 

It should be noted that last night, air defence systems shot down all 27 attack UAVs launched by the Russians. Combat operations took place in seven Regions.
