The Russians may be preparing a provocation with chemical weapons, as Kremlin propaganda is now spreading reports of Ukraine's alleged use of such weapons. In addition, the Kremlin is preparing provocations with civilians in the Kursk Region. This was stated by Andriy Kovalenko, head of the Centre for Countering Disinformation.

It is noted that Russian propaganda has begun to actively produce fakes about the alleged plans of the Ukrainian Defence Forces to use banned weapons.

According to Kovalenko, such actions by Russian propaganda indicate that Russian special services are preparing provocations to accuse Ukraine.

"The Russians may be preparing a provocation with chemical weapons, as they are spreading reports about Ukraine's alleged use of such weapons right now," Kovalenko said.

The officer also added that "Ukraine does not use prohibited weapons, acts in a civilised manner, and protects Russian civilians in the Kursk Region from Russian shelling."

"Russia needs victims among their civilians to blame Ukraine. Therefore, they are ready to kill their own people, as the FSB has already done with the help of ISIS in Crocus City Hall," adds the head of the CCD.

Due to the lack of real evidence, since there is no violence, the Russians are now focusing on the story of the allegedly shot pregnant woman, using the same strategy as in 2014 - at the beginning of the invasion of Donetsk and Luhansk Regions.

"Now Russia is using creative agencies and theatre studios funded under closed items of the Russian Ministry of Defence to produce content from the allegedly 'Ukrainian-occupied territories'.

Earlier, fake videos featuring the alleged Ukrainian military were recorded. The Krylia studio, affiliated with the Russian Ministry of Defence, was involved in the production of such videos.
