Russians attacked the territory of Ukraine with two X-59/69 guided missiles on 14 August. They also launched 23 Shahed attack UAVs.
This was reported by the Air Force Commander, Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk.
The missiles were launched from the airspace of Belgorod Region, and the drones from the Chauda area in Crimea, as well as from the Russian cities of Yeysk and Kursk.
In an anti-aircraft battle, mobile firing groups of the Ukrainian Defence Forces, aviation, anti-aircraft missile units and electronic warfare assets of the Air Force shot down 17 Russian UAVs in Mykolayiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Kyiv, Zaporizhzhya, Sumy, Kharkiv and Zhytomyr Regions.
