Ukraine may use weapons provided by Denmark on the territory of Russia.
This was announced by Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen, DR quoted.
‘Defending yourself may well include invading the aggressor's territory. If, as part of this, you are pursuing the infrastructure or military facilities of the attacker, then this is entirely within the rules of war,’ Rasmussen said.
The Minister noted that ‘you cannot set a restriction that weapons can only be used on the territory of Ukraine’.
‘You cannot afford to tell Ukraine that it should not cross the border and cut supply chains,’ the Foreign Minister said, stressing that the Ukrainian offensive is part of a defensive operation.
