Russian army attacked the infrastructure of the town of Bohodukhiv in Kharkiv Region, Oleh Synyehubov said.

"Today at 9:29 am the enemy attacked two infrastructure facilities in the town of Bohodukhiv," Synyehubov wrote.

According to updated data as of 14:00, a 72-year-old man died as a result of the shelling. Eight people were injured. Among them are two minors: A 17-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy. Six of them were hospitalised. 

"Among those hospitalised are a 15-year-old boy and a pregnant woman," the head of the RMA said. 

At the same time, according to the Prosecutor General's Office, one person was killed and six wounded in the hostile attack in Bohodukhiv, and an investigation has been launched.

Under the procedural guidance of the Bohodukhiv District Prosecutor's Office of Kharkiv Region, a pre-trial investigation was launched into the violation of the laws and customs of war combined with premeditated murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, on 27 August, at around 9:30 a.m., the Russian armed forces shelled the town of Bohodukhiv.

One of the hits was recorded near a bus stop. A 71-year-old man was killed. Three men, a woman, a 15-year-old boy and his pregnant sister were injured.

A hit was also documented on an industrial facility, and private households, outbuildings, and cars were damaged.

According to preliminary data, Russian troops shelled the settlement with Tornado-S MLRS.

Prosecutors and police investigators are taking all possible and appropriate measures to document war crimes committed by the Russian military.
