Ukraine's defence forces have advanced up to two kilometres in the Kursk sector, Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyy said during a Supreme C’n’C staff meeting. This is stated in a message on Telegram by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The military took control of another five square kilometres in this area. They also replenished the exchange fund again.

Syrsky said that fighting of varying intensity continues along the entire frontline. The most difficult situation is in the Pokrovsk sector, where the enemy is trying to break through the defences of our troops.

Syrskyy said that as of this morning, all attacks had been repelled.

Zelenskyy, for his part, replied that he would contact Syrskyy separately for other details.

The meeting also focused on preparing schools for the school year, including analysing the construction of shelters.

"The government must also be aware of its personal responsibility for preparing schools in terms of energy challenges," the president said in a post.

The third topic is energy. The state of liquidation of the consequences of Russian strikes. Analysis of some issues related to the construction of defence structures.
