People were injured in the Kyiv district of Kharkiv as a result of an enemy attack. The shelling took place in a densely populated residential area.

This was reported by the mayor of the city, Ihor Terekhov, and the head of the Regional Military Administration, Oleh Synyehubov.

The SES reported that 14 people were preliminarily injured in the attack.

A sports facility, a private house, a warehouse building and boxes with cars on the territory of a garage cooperative were damaged. Fires broke out at various addresses. Garages, cars, a warehouse building and grass over an area of 1000 square metres were on fire.

The air strike involved 15 vehicles and 90 rescuers.

As of 16.31, seven people were known to have been injured. A 60-year-old woman and a 40-year-old man were in serious condition. Another 5 women are in moderate condition.

According to preliminary data, 2 hostile KABs hit a garage cooperative located near residential buildings in Kyiv district.

Another hit was recorded on the territory of one of the universities. There are five victims there. Doctors are providing all the necessary assistance. 

Terekhov clarified that the attack damaged a sports infrastructure facility.

On the night of 2 September, the Russian army attacked Kharkiv twice. One person was wounded, a 66-year-old woman.
