Two nuclear power units are not operating at full capacity due to a breakdown, ZN.ua reports, citing a source in the energy market.
As a result, the generation deficit in the system has increased by 625 MW. According to media reports, the breakdown occurred yesterday at the South Ukrainian NPP.
LB.ua's sources in Ukrenergo confirmed the information about the breakdown.
A circulation pump broke down there, and it may take a long time to fix the problem.
