At night, Russia attacked Ukraine with 25 Shaheds and missiles of various types. Air defence systems shot down 20 Russian drones.

In total, on the night of 11 September 2024, the Air Force's radio engineering troops detected and escorted 34 Russian air attack means.
Russian military struck with one Iskander-M ballistic missile from the Krasnodar Territory of Russia, two S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles from the occupied Donetsk Region, 6 X-31P anti-aircraft missiles from the airspace over the Black Sea towards Zmiyinyy Island, and 25 Shahed attack UAVs. Russia launched the Shaheds from Kursk, Yeysk, and from the Crimean Cape Chauda.
As a result of the air battle, 20 attack UAVs were shot down, and 5 Russian drones were lost on the territory of Ukraine (no information on casualties or damage was received).
Air defences were operating in Kyiv, Kherson, Cherkasy, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk and Poltava Regions.
