Ukraine expects a $1.1 billion tranche from the International Monetary Fund in the near future.
This was announced by Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal during a government meeting.
According to the Prime Minister, this week an agreement was reached with the IMF at the expert level on the fifth revision of the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) programme for $15.6 billion.
"Ukraine is implementing all the reforms and structural benchmarks. So in the near future, we expect the IMF to disburse $1.1 billion for the next tranche," Shmyhal said.
The Prime Minister added that the assistance of partners helps the Ukrainian government finance non-military expenditures, social programmes, and rapid recovery projects.
