The Russian army attacked civilian energy infrastructure in Donetsk, Zaporizhzhya, Sumy and Chernihiv Regions, the Ministry of Energy has reported.
In Sumy Region, the shelling of a power facility damaged equipment and shelters, and several substations lost power. The attack killed a 54-year-old driver, while 7 other employees were injured and hospitalised.
In Zaporizhzhya Region, the shelling disconnected an overhead line and cut power to substations. Consumers did not lose electricity.
In Chernihiv Region, overhead lines were disconnected due to Russian shelling, and 413 subscribers in 6 settlements lost power.
