Defence Forces jointly with SBU successfully strike two Russian military facilities

The SBU drones also hit the infrastructure of the Shaykovka military airfield, where TU-22M strategic aircraft are deployed.

On the night of 21 September, the Ukrainian Defence Forces, together with the SBU, struck two Russian military arsenals in Krasnodar Territory and Tver Region. The Shaykovka military airfield was also attacked.

This was reported by LB.ua and the General Staff.

In particular, the SBU drones targeted the 23rd arsenal of the Main Artillery Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Defence in Tver Region, where artillery and missile weapons for Iskander tactical missile systems and Tochka-U tactical missile systems were stored.

After the successful hits of Ukrainian drones, detonations began in the warehouse, and five fires were recorded.

The Tikhoretsk arsenal in the Krasnodar Territory, which is one of the three largest ammunition storage bases of Russians and is one of the key bases in the logistics system of the Russian troops, was also hit.

At the time of the strike, the arsenal was carrying another echelon that had delivered at least 2,000 tonnes of ammunition, including from the DPRK. The Podlyot radar station, which detected air targets in the direction of the arsenal, was also attacked.

"The SBU, together with the entire Defence Forces of Ukraine, is systematically reducing the enemy's missile and artillery potential. This week we have already blown up a large arsenal in Toropets, Tver Region. Today, it is the turn of the next largest depot - one of the enemy's important logistics points where ammunition was stored for attacks on Ukraine. The season of "falling debris" is in full swing," said an SBU source.

The task was successfully completed in cooperation with the Defence Forces: Unmanned Systems Forces, Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine and others.

The SBU drones also struck the infrastructure of the Shaykovka military airfield (Kaluga Region, Russia), where TU-22M strategic aircraft are deployed and regularly fire on Ukraine.
