On the night of 22 September, Russia launched two X-59/69 missiles and 80 Shahed drones at Ukraine. Air defence forces shot down 71 Russian drones.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"On the night of 22 September, the enemy struck with two X-59/69 guided missiles from the airspace of the temporarily occupied Luhansk Region and launched 80 Shahed-type attack drones from Yeysk and Kursk," the statement said.
Air defence was conducted in Khmelnytskyy, Vinnytsya, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Sumy, Poltava, Kherson and Mykolayiv Regions.
