The DPRK has sent about 10,000 troops to Russia to train and participate in hostilities against Ukraine.
This statement was made at a briefing by Pentagon spokeswoman Sabrina Singh, reports Yevropeyska Pravda.
According to her, the North Koreans will join the war in the ‘next few weeks’. Some of the DPRK soldiers, whose deployment to Russia was confirmed last week, have already been relocated closer to Ukraine.
‘We are increasingly concerned that Russia intends to use these soldiers in combat or to support combat operations against Ukrainian forces in the Kursk region of Russia,’ Singh said.
