The Verkhovna Rada has extended martial law and mobilisation in Ukraine. This is already the 13th such vote.
311 MPs voted in favour of extending martial law and 304 voted for mobilisation. The vote was broadcasted by MP Oleksiy Honcharenko.
The bills were presented by the Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council, Oleksandr Lytvynenko. He said that more than 160,000 more people need to be mobilised. This will make it possible to staff the units by more than 80%.
In total, more than one million people have been mobilised.
