Air defence downed 26 drones, and another 20 were lost in the area.

Last night, Russians attacked Kryvyy Rih with an Iskander-M ballistic missile. It was launched from Crimea.

The Russians also launched 48 Shahed strike UAVs and unidentified drones from Orel and Kursk (Russia). In addition, the aviation was firing round-the-clock with anti-aircraft missiles at the frontline areas, the Air Force said.

"As of 09.00, 26 enemy UAVs have been confirmed downed, 20 drones have been locally lost, and one has returned to Russia. The information is being clarified and updated," the military said.

The air defence system was operating in Kyiv, Cherkasy, Vinnytsya, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyy, Sumy, Chernihiv and Poltava Regions.

Attack on the night of 29 October

  • The damage was reported in two districts of Kyiv: Solomyanskyy and Svyatoshynskyy. Six people are injured. 
  • In the Kyiv Region, falling debris caused fire and damaged a road. 
  • In Kryvyy Rih, Russians killed one person and wounded 14
  • In Kharkiv, four people were killed by Russian strikes.
