The railway bridge in the temporarily occupied Berdyansk was blown up as a result of a successful special operation by the local resistance movement and the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.
This was reported by Interfax-Ukraine, citing an informed source.
‘As a result of successful sabotage actions, a railway viaduct (bridge) located between the Vodokanal building and a car wash on Eastern Avenue was blown up,’ the report said.
The Russian occupiers used the bridge to transport military supplies. Its destruction completely paralysed the railway connection with Berdiansk.
‘As a result, it is impossible to transport fuels and lubricants, weapons and ammunition for the occupation forces in the temporarily occupied Ukrainian city. And although local occupation resources and propagandists claim that ‘all bridges are intact’, they do not show any photos of the allegedly intact bridge,’ the source said.
The explosion of the bridge in the temporarily occupied Berdiansk was reported by the city military administration.
