The Russian army attacked Ukraine with missiles of various types, guided aerial bombs (KABs) and attack drones. A total of 96 air attack vehicles were detected (excluding KABs), the Air Force said.
Totally, Russians have launched:
- two S-300 guided missiles from the Kursk Region to the Sumy Region
- two X-101 cruise missiles from Tu-95MS strategic bombers, launch area - the Caspian Sea
- two Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles from the Voronezh Region
- 90 Shahed strike UAVs and unidentified drones from the Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk and Orel Regions.
"As of 10.00 a.m., two X-101 cruise missiles, two Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles and 37 enemy UAVs were confirmed downed in Kyiv, Poltava, Zhytomyr, Sumy, Cherkasy, Zaporizhzhya, Chernihiv and Kirovohrad Regions," the statement said.
Another 47 Russian drones were lost in different Regions of Ukraine, two UAVs left Ukrainian airspace in the direction of Belarus and Russia. Two more drones were still in the air.
