On 16 December, Russian forces killed one person and wounded five others in Kherson Region, using artillery and drones to target the area.
According to the Office of the Prosecutor General, a 53-year-old woman was killed in Beryslav when a Russian drone dropped an explosive on a store. Another local resident sustained blast injuries and a concussion.
In Kherson, a man suffered a head injury from the attacks, while three more people were wounded in Antonivka, a suburb of the city. At least five civilian structures, including private homes, were damaged by the shelling.
The attacks are part of ongoing Russian strikes targeting civilian areas in the region.
