On 19 December, Russian occupants attacked Kupyansk district in Kharkiv Region.
According to Oleh Synyehubov, the head of the Regional Military Administration, there were killed and wounded in the attack.
‘One woman died as a result of the enemy shelling of Shevchenkove, the data is being established. Another woman and a man were wounded,’ said the head of the region.
In addition, another civilian was killed and another wounded in the shelling of Dvorichna. The woman was taken to hospital.
Kharkiv police later reported that the number of victims had increased to three.
According to law enforcement, the Russians struck the village at around 15.00. According to preliminary data from the explosives department, the occupiers used an Iskander-M missile against civilians.
‘As of 16:55, we know about six victims. One civilian woman sustained life-threatening injuries. Another woman died while being transported to a medical facility, and a civilian man also sustained fatal injuries. Three other civilian residents of the village, including two women and one man, were injured,’ the police said.
