The Committee on National Security, Defence and Intelligence of the Verkhovna Rada has no bills to reduce the mobilisation age.
This is stated on the committee's Facebook page.
"There have been and are no draft laws to reduce the mobilisation age from 25 to 18 years in the Verkhovna Rada or in our specialised Committee on National Security, Defence and Intelligence. The information disseminated in the media today is false," the post reads.
- Earlier, information from allegedly military officials appeared on social media that a draft law to reduce the conscription age from 25 to 18 was already on the table in the Verkhovna Rada and was awaiting approval.
