At least six settlements in Russia’s Belgorod Region lost electricity following a UAV attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on 25 December.
According to the governor of the Region, the strike targeted the Grayvoronskiy district. Unlike typical kamikaze drone attacks, this operation involved FPV drones dropping explosive devices, which damaged a power line.
The villages of Gora Podol, Glotovo, Kozinka, Novostroyevka-Pervaya, Novostroyevka-Vtoraya, and Bezymyannoye were affected. However, the last two villages are currently uninhabited due to prior resettlement.
