Russia has launched a missile attack on Kryvyy Rih.

This was announced by the head of the city's Defence Council, Oleksandr Vilkul.

‘Kryvyy Rih. A missile attack. We understand where. We are already working. We are not filming or posting anything on the Internet,’ he wrote on Telegram.

Earlier, an air alert was declared in a number of regions of Ukraine due to the threat of a ballistic missile attack.

The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, Serhiy Lysak, said that a residential building was damaged in the attack.

So far, six people have been reported injured. Two of them have been rescued from the rubble.

‘The number of victims in Kryvyy Rih has increased to six. Half of them are in hospital. Women aged 69 and 72 and a 78-year-old man. All are in moderate condition. The rest of the injured were treated on the spot,’ added Lysak.
