On 13 January, Russians attacked Ukrainians with 110 Shahed-type attack drones and imitators of various types. The attack was carried out from the directions of Millerovo, Orel, Bryansk and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.
The aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare, and mobile fire groups were involved in repelling the attack, according to the Air Force. As of 9 a.m., 78 drones had been confirmed being downed.
Air defence systems were operating in Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolayiv, Zaporizhzhya, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyy and Donetsk Regions.
There is damage as a result of falling debris.
"The fall of downed enemy drones in Sumy, Kyiv, Zhytomyr and Zaporizhzhya Regions caused damage to the buildings of enterprises, private and public institutions, private houses and vehicles (preliminary, no casualties)," the military said.
Another 31 Russian imitator drones were lost in the area (without any negative consequences).
