Two women were killed when a Russian airstrike hit a residential area in Kupyansk, Kharkiv Region, on 26 January.
The attack, which occurred at 14:18, destroyed several private homes, including one where the victims, aged 95 and 72, were buried under the rubble.
Rescuers from the State Emergency Service (SES) worked alongside local utility teams to recover the bodies and clear debris.
“The rescue operations have been completed. SES specialists and medics provided assistance at the site,” the SES reported.
Russians used an FAB-500 bomb in the attack, which targeted the residential sector of the city.
