On the Day of Remembrance and Victory over Nazism in World War II (1939–1945), President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and First Lady Olena Zelenska paid tribute to the fallen, the Presidential Office reports.

The event was also attended by the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak, Minister of Foreign Affairs Andriy Sybiha and representatives of diplomatic missions in Ukraine.
The participants observed a minute of silence in memory of the victims.
This is the second time that Ukraine, along with the rest of the world, marks the Day of Remembrance and Victory over Nazism in World War II (1939–1945) on 8 May.
