Last night, long-range SBU drones hit two key Russian military-industrial complex plants in the Russian rear.

This was reported by LB.ua sources.

The SBU drones visited the Basalt plant, the main Russian defence enterprise for the production of weapons and ammunition for all branches of the Russian Armed Forces (Krasnoarmeysk, Moscow Region).

Local residents counted at least 7 explosions there, which were followed by a fire.

And also to the Splav plant, the only enterprise in Russia that designs and develops multiple launch rocket systems and ammunition (Tula). After the drone strike, a massive fire and smoke broke out on the territory of the enterprise.

In addition, the movement of Ukrainian drones forced the Russians to introduce a ‘carpet plan’ in the Moscow Region, which involves the closure of airports. This created a transport collapse. Airlines cancelled hundreds of flights.‘Unlike the Russians, who target residential high-rise buildings in peaceful cities, the SBU is working specifically on military facilities that help the enemy carry out armed aggression against Ukraine. The work on weakening Russia's military capabilities will continue,’ an SBU source said.

Earlier, drones attacked a fibre optic systems plant in Saransk at night. The plant was severely damaged after the attack. Fibre optics is one of the enemy's advantages on the frontline due to fibre optic drones. This plant fully supplies the Russian army with fibre optics. Now there is a question of a possible shutdown.

In Tula, the Design Bureau of Instrumentation JSC, one of the flagships of the Russian military-industrial complex, specialising in the development of modern weapons systems, including anti-tank systems, small arms and combat modules, was attacked. Its products are actively used during the war in Ukraine.
