Zelenskyy: Ukrainian proposal for 30-day ceasefire remains valid

It is from Russia that the world sees no response other than new strikes.

The Ukrainian proposal to cease fire for at least 30 days remains in force – we are not withdrawing this proposal, which may give diplomacy a chance.

This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy in his address.

“But it is from Russia that the world sees no response – no response other than new strikes. This demonstrates as clearly as possible, obviously for everyone, who is the source of the war. Russia must end its aggression, and they will have to do so. It is only a matter of time. War is a loss for everyone, including the Russian side,” the President of Ukraine assured.

He stressed that sanctions against Russia for this war will increase, and the justice of the world will also work. In many ways, unfortunately, justice will work slowly but inevitably.

Today, Chief of Staff Syrskyy reported on active Ukrainian actions in the Kursk and Belgorod Regions.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasised that the Defence Forces were protecting Ukrainian land from hostile activity in the border area.
