Romania's newly elected President Nicușor Dan has said that Romania should maintain its policy of support for Ukraine.
He said this in an interview with LB.ua.
"I think that Romania should continue to support Ukraine and contribute to joint European efforts [on security] in a balanced way," Dan said.
- The pro-Ukrainian and pro-European mayor of Bucharest, Nicușor Dan, won the second round of the Romanian presidential election. He received 53.6% of the vote.
- His rival, far-right politician George Simion, received 46.40% of the vote.
