Russian drone strike kills family of four in Sumy Region

According to police, the Russians killed five people in the Sumy Region in one day. In addition to the family of four, another civilian was killed. 

On the night of 30 September, the Russian army struck a residential building in the village of Chernechchyna, Sumy Region, with a drone. A couple with two children aged four and six lived there. All of them were killed.

Rescuers recovered the bodies of four victims – the parents and two sons. This was reported by the head of the Regional Military Administration, Oleh Hryhorov.

“Last night, the enemy launched a targeted strike with a strike drone on a residential building in the village of Chernechchyna, Krasnopil community,” he said.

In total, according to police, the Russians killed five people in the Sumy Region in one day. In addition to the family of four, another civilian was killed.

“A civilian was killed as a result of enemy attacks. An apartment building, a municipal enterprise building, private homes and a car were damaged,” the statement said.

The enemy attacks the Sumy Region daily – in particular, with targeted drone strikes.
