The Embassy of Ukraine in the United Arab Emirates has announced the launch of the initiative “The Month of Ukraine” — a project that will, for the first time, bring together dozens of events in diplomacy, business, technology, and culture under a single programme. The announcement was made on the embassy’s official Facebook page.
According to the organisers, the initiative aims to provide a systematic presentation of contemporary Ukraine at the level of state and public diplomacy, as well as to strengthen intergovernmental and societal dialogue between Ukraine and the UAE.
The programme of the Month of Ukraine spans a wide range of areas. These include official meetings with representatives of Ukrainian and Emirati state institutions, business forums, investment panels, and B2B meetings aimed at developing trade and economic cooperation. A separate focus is dedicated to showcasing Ukrainian start-ups, technological solutions, and innovations, alongside cultural events that represent Ukraine’s cultural identity.
The marathon of events will open with the cultural initiative Book Oasis, organised by the Embassy and the Consulate of Ukraine in Dubai in partnership with the Ukrainian Women’s Initiative in the UAE. The project is implemented in the format of book-crossing and a “book shelf”, where participants will be able to exchange literature in their native language, discover new titles, and engage with members of the community.
The organisers invite the Ukrainian community, entrepreneurs, artists, and experts to take part in the initiative and jointly present Ukraine in the Emirates.
