Overnight, the KuibyshevAzot plant in Russia’s Samara Region came under attack. This was reported by the OSINT channel Exilenova+ on Telegram.
The attack on the Kuibyshev chemical plant is the second this month. Locals posted a video on Telegram showing fire and smoke following the strikes (contains strong language).
In addition, drones attacked other Russian regions, ASTRA reports. In Taganrog, an attack lasting several hours was recorded. Air defence forces attempted to intercept the drones, but, alongside falling debris, there were also direct hits. Local authorities reported one fatality and eight people injured; damage was caused to private housing, a school and 12 high-rise buildings.
In Krasnodar, three people were injured by falling debris, the regional operational headquarters reported.
The Russian Ministry of Defence claimed that its air defences shot down 102 drones over the Belgorod, Kursk, Voronezh, Rostov, Volgograd, Penza, Ulyanovsk and Samara regions, Krasnodar Territory, occupied Crimea, and over the Black Sea.
