Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha and Germany’s Federal Minister of Defence Boris Pistorius have signed an implementing agreement on the joint production of BARS unmanned aerial vehicles.
This is stated in Sybiha’s post on the social platform X.
The agreement was concluded following joint work by the countries’ defence ministries within the Build with Ukraine initiative.
The German side will finance UAV production as part of the project’s first phase, and all manufactured products will be delivered to Ukraine’s Defence Forces.

Earlier, it became known that the German government approved a draft budget for 2027 that sugges an increase in defence spending to €109.7 billion and €11.6 billion in military aid to Ukraine.
