Ukraine's Ministry of Defence has published an explanation of the procedure for calculating military pay and additional payments for service members.
The clarification was issued in a statement by the ministry.
"The payments you have already received or will receive in the coming days are your basic military pay," the statement said.
The additional UAH 10,000 payment for rear-area service in June will be paid together with the additional combat-related payment.
The Ministry of Defence, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and other military authorities are currently providing military units with guidance on the procedure for implementing the new June payments.
The ministry also clarified that combat-related payments, as well as rewards for capturing enemy personnel, will be made after commanders of military units issue orders specifying the amount due to each individual service member.
Payments for participation in strike, search and assault operations will be processed after military units receive documentation from higher headquarters confirming that such missions were carried out. If the confirmation is received after the established deadline, the payment will be deferred until the following month.
At the same time, Ministry of Defence Order No. 260 requires higher headquarters to provide confirmation of assault operations within three days.
"Payments for eliminating enemy personnel will be made after verification through the Delta system and the issuance of a commander's order. The verification procedure will also be provided," the ministry added.
